Happy news, friends!
I'm beyond pleased to announce that my submission for a recent public art project in the City of Redondo Beach has been selected! Huge thanks to the Public Art Commission for choosing my design to be installed on a city-owned utility box on the corner of Torrance Boulevard and Catalina. Admirably, the Public Art Commission has dedicated funding from the John Parsons Fund for the beautification of several of these (often unsightly!) utility boxes throughout the city. Bringing a splash of color and design, the work of several artists will be featured on different boxes over the next couple of years, so keep an eye out for new installations as they roll out!
Take a peek at my happy sea turtles next time you are headed to the Redondo Pier and take a picture! I'd love to see!
Artfully Yours,
Emily
